the hold steady at jakes nightclub last night was great. it was nice to see so many familiar faces (ones that i actually don't mind seeing!) i drank a lot of beer, had a curly fro-esque coif in my face all night, hung with friends, and loved every minute of it. it's been a long time since i've gone to shows i really WANTED and were EXCITED to go to....and it feels very nice. lucero is coming up and i can't wait.

currently, i am at the laundry mat because arlo peed all over the cushion thing in his crate so it needed to be washed. i'm freezing bc the doors keep opening and closing. woke up starving at 9 this morning and still haven't eaten. i was really hoping for patachou but time wasn't permitting. the weather sucks...it's depressing bc the weather yesterday was superb. lots of things to do today...gotta go pick up coffee for the awesome senseo i bought last week...finish cleaning the house...sales tax for the gas station for my mom...eating should be at the top of that list.

the house is finally starting to feel like home. i think i might go goodwilling today to look for weird knick knacks and whatever else...houses aren't homes without these types of things. also need to go get paint samples for the living room. oh the interesting life i live! i like it though...i feel good where i am.
